    Dr. Zach’s journey into chiropractic didn’t start with back pain—it started with a story. When he first heard about Harvey Lillard, a man who regained his hearing after a chiropractic adjustment, something clicked. Having grown up with a sibling who faced hearing loss and a father devoted to hearing loss research, that story hit home. It lit a fire in him—what else could the body do if we simply removed the interference?

    Though he originally sought chiropractic care for sports injuries, learning about the body’s built-in ability to heal changed everything. What started as curiosity quickly became conviction. He realized chiropractic wasn’t just about pain relief—it was about unlocking human potential.

    Originally from Gainesville, Florida, Dr. Zach moved to Spartanburg, SC to earn his degree at Sherman College of Chiropractic, where he fell in love with the precision and power of the Gonstead Technique, logging over 200 hours of additional training. After graduating in 2020, he continued expanding his clinical toolbox with certifications in the Webster Technique (for expectant mothers) and Trigenics® Neuromuscular Reeducation (for complex knee and shoulder cases).

    Today, Dr. Zach co-leads Upstate Clinic alongside his wife, Dr. Megan, helping individuals move from pain and burnout to clarity, strength, and freedom—with care that actually makes sense. For him, it’s not just about adjustments—it’s about transformation.

    Dr. Megan’s belief in the body’s ability to heal was born from personal experience. After watching her father suffer with chronic pain for over 20 years following a traumatic accident—trying everything from injections to medications with no lasting relief—his life was changed by a chiropractor who finally saw the full picture. That moment sparked something in her: a desire to bring that same kind of hope and healing to others who feel like they’ve tried it all.

    Originally from Philadelphia, Dr. Megan moved to Spartanburg, SC to attend Sherman College of Chiropractic, where she graduated as valedictorian in 2020. She went beyond the standard curriculum, dedicating over 200 hours to advanced study in the Gonstead Technique and extremity care to deliver precise, personalized results.

    With her additional certification in Functional Medicine, Dr. Megan helps uncover and treat the root causes of issues like chronic fatigue, bloating, hormonal imbalance, and nervous system dysregulation—especially for women who feel dismissed or unseen in traditional healthcare settings.

    In 2021, she and her husband Dr. Zach opened Upstate Clinic to offer a new standard of care: one that blends structural alignment with deep functional insight, so every patient feels empowered, clear, and supported on their healing journey—mind, body, and soul.
